Armored Specifications: International Armoring Corporation (IAC) uses the most technologically advanced material for their armored cars.
IAC designed LTA® is:
- Distortion-free
- Looks identical to original vehicle glass-maintains original appearance
- Lighter and thinner than all-glass laminates or air-gap designs.
- Unaffected by temperature fluctuations.
- Offers dependable protection against a variety of lethal weapons.
Weld Free™
Weld Free™ is the most recently developed advacement from International Armoring Corporation. Weld Free is an independently certified method used to mount ballistic steel into vehicles without eliminating the ballistic integrity of the vehicle.

TRASCO – COMPETENCE IN BALLISTIC VEHICLE PROTECTION
The TRASCO test methods are based on threats according to the instructions of the Germany standards, but also according to simulation of realistic threats like to following:
Fire weapons
Handguns, different calibers up to caliber Mag .44
Assault Rifles, different calibers / ammunition e.g. AK47, AK74, M193, SS109, M80
Assault and Sniper rifles with AP- Ammunition e.g. 7.62 x 39 BZ-API and 7.62 x 51 P80
Ground explosives (under floor)
Hand grenades type DM51 and M67
AP mines (cloned DM31)
AT mines according to mil. Standards
KE artillery threats
Tested according mil. Standards with fragment simulating projectiles (FSP) up to ø 20mm
Side explosives
AP mines like type DM31 (working as “jumping-mine” with exploding in 1m height, short distance to target)
IED (improvised explosive devices) up to 5 kg
Blast bombs with 15 kg and more of explosives
STANDARD THREAT PROTECTION – DIRECT FIRE LEVELS
Test conditions
Conditions meet or exceed European Committee for Standardization guidelines outlined in EN1063, 1522, 1523 and PM2000 for qualification & certification of armor solutions. On customer request, STANAG 4569 test conditions can also be used.
